The Duck River Youth Committee would like to remind everyone that the 2014 Duck River Youth Camp will be held at the TAG Camp near Lynchburg on Friday, Sept. 26, Saturday, Sept, 27, and Sunday, Sept. 28.
There will be Worship Service on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. and Sunday morning at 10 a.m. so please pray for the preachers that they will be submissive to God's Will where they can be used as a mouthpiece for God.
Saturday: Elder Gayle Alexander
Sunday: Elder Tim Garrett
The theme for this year's camp is "For The Time is at Hand ... Are you plugged into Jesus?". ( T-Shirt designs and related Bible verses from the youth of the association are Sept 7.)
Duck River Sign-Up Sheets need to be turned into the Duck River Youth Committee by Sept. 7. This will allow time for t-shirts to be ordered and all the events can be planned accordingly. Please, turn them into any DRYC Member.
If you want to donate money, food, or any other items for the camp, please let on of the committee members know as soon as possible. We also request that anyone that can please bring cookies, cakes, snacks, etc. to help supplement the meals.
If you are unable to attend the camp, please, pray fro everyone in attendance that Jesus's name would be glorified and that all lost souls would leave the camp with their names written in the Lamb's Book of Life. God always wants to give his children great blessings and there is no greater blessing than seeing people born into the family of God.
